SPECIFICATION WRITER: CHOOSING HIGH QUALITY EPDM MEMBRANES

As a specifier for EPDM membrane or other EPDM suppliers you are perhaps the most important link between the producer and the final installer of our material. If the specifications or Statement of Requirements leaves the door open to different interpretations, then this can result in failure costs and changes to the design.

 

For HERTALAN® it is therefore important to support you not only with the necessary information, but also with good knowledge and useful tools. ROOFING SYSTEMS

A flat roof always consists of a support structure and a roof deck which combined are referred to as the substructure. This substructure is decisive in the choice and method of attachment of our a Hertalan EPDM membranes.

 

It is important to determine which Hertalan EPDM systems are suitable for each project and therefore it is vital to have an insight into the determination of the design of the roof. Each roofing system has its own Tender description, in which all necessary details are described. Hertalan specification texts leave no room for misinterpretation. We have years of expertise and for HERTALAN® it is important that we share our knowledge with you. HERTALAN® is one of the few manufacturers of EPDM roofing systems in Europe, we have our own R & D department (with certified laboratory), our own rubber technologists in this area (the only one in the Netherlands) and extensive experience in the market for EPDM membrane materials (since mid-60s).
