CARLISLE® CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS

In March 2012 Hertalan Rubber Products was acquired by Carlisle Companies Inc. in the United States. Carlisle is privately held and has 11,000 employees worldwide across 75 decentralized offices with activity in a wide range of (rubber) products in various markets.

THE FUTURE

In addition to the acquisition of HERTALAN®, Carlisle also acquired in August 2011 the German Phoenix Dichtungstechnik, producer of RESITRIX® roofing membranes. Through both acquisitions Carlisle has taken a clear strategic step in the expansion of its European activities with two strong and reliable brands for the European market. The years of experience of both EPDM producers in the UK market will be combined under the name Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) UK Ltd. After this acquisition Carlisle became the leader in the European market where the familiar names of Hertalan and RESITRIX ® are established brands.

PRODUCT GROUP HERTALAN®

The products of HERTALAN® are mainly used in roofing, cladding and damp proofing structures. There are also other application areas such as pond lining, biogas applications and water basins. The assortment of HERTALAN® consists of the products hertalan easy cover, hertalan easy cover FR, hertalan easy weld, hertalan S EPDM strips and hertaled lead alternative

PRODUCT GROUP RESITRIX®

The productsfrom the product group RESITRIX® are primarily being used in roofing and cladding. The range of products includes RESITRIX® SK Partial Bond, RESITRIX® SK W Full Bond, RESITRIX® MB, RESITRIX® SR, RESITRIX® ESK and RESITRIX® CL. In addition, RESITRIX® provides a high quality aluminium vapor barrier ALUTRIX®.

MARKET LEADER

After this acquisition CARLISLE® is now the market leader in the European EPDM market, where the trusted names HERTALAN® and RESITRIX® remain as brand names. Both organizations operate in their country of origin under the new name Carlisle® Construction Materials. The German operations are managed by Carlisle® Construction Materials GmbH in Hamburg, the Dutch by Carlisle® Construction Materials BV in Kampen and the English by Carlisle® Construction Materials Ltd. in Rugby and Mansfield.
